10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday; by appointment only on Mondays and Fridays.
Please note that we will be closed from Friday 15th December 2022 through to Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

Sewcial Stitching Sessions:
Every Wednesday from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., and the first Thursday of every month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
No need to book! Bring along your own sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, or other crafty stitching project to work on in our social stitching sessions.
(No materials are provided)
£6 per person per session, including tea and coffee. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Do you provide fabrics and hardware for the workshops?
Unless otherwise mentioned, our workshops do not include supplies. Please bring your own sewing kit and fabrics. There are many fantastic fabric stores in Cornwall, including our lovely nearby neighbours - The Sewing Studio in Redruth (approximately 15 minutes drive). Hardware and interfacing kits will be available to purchase; please contact us for more information.
Do you provide sewing machines for the workshops?
You can either use your own sewing machine, or borrow one of the studio sewing machines, which include our favourite sewing machine for bagmaking - the Janome HD9. Machine use includes feet, refresher training on machine use & needles. Machine use does not include thread; please bring your own or purchase some from the supplies shop. Please contact us to confirm availability.
Are refreshments included with my booking?
All workshops, sewcial sessions, and Studio sessions include tea and coffee. Full-day workshops also include a light lunch. There is also a delicious cake shop next door to our Studio - Delight to Bite. Please let us know of any dietary requirements using the text box on the booking page.
What if I need to cancel?
Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your booking. If you cancel within 24 hours of the workshop, we can only refund 50% of your booking fee
Can I run my own workshop at The Make Space?
Yes, you can! If you're interested in running a workshop at The Make Space, please email us at makespace@mrs-h.com.
Accessibility Information:
The Make Space has a ground floor, fully-accessible workshop space and studio area with variable height tables. Please note that the toilet is on the first floor and so not fully accessible. There is a public accessible toilet at Cafe Soul nearby.
Getting to The Make Space:
By road:
Camborne is just off the A30 in Cornwall. There is a long-stay car park near to the studio. If you are using your own sewing machine, you can drop it off before you park by using the 30-minute parking bay across from the studio. By rail:
